A Tweet from Alison Jae got me thinking: one of the enormous problems we as writers have is practicing. Nothing improves our writing like practice, so it is essential we do it every day. I find this hard – I have a full-time job that often leaves me too exhausted to think, let alone write something sensible. Then I happened upon this Tweet.
It’s brilliant. Breathtakingly so. Why not set yourself goals that are undeniably realistic to achieve? Everyone can do this. So, that’s what I’m going to do – at first I’ll use Twitter and pin the thread to my profile, but as it expands into something worthwhile, I’ll move it to another blogging platform.
Why don’t you try it?
